We provide free bilingual legal services for low-income residents of Elliot Lake and the North Shore of Lake Huron
We can help you with problems in:
- Ontario Works (OW) – applying for OW, or problems once you are getting it
- Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) – applying for ODSP, or problems once you are getting it
- Old Age Security (OAS) – applying for it, or problems once you are getting it
- Tenants’ rights – like evictions; we don’t act for landlords
- Wills and Powers of Attorney (POA) – we help with preparation if you qualify
- Seniors’ issues – like form completion, complaints, advocacy Clinic Assistance to Promote and Protect Program (complaints about businesses operating in our area)
If we can’t help you, we will try to refer you to someone who can.
